Design Concept: Zhangye Gobi is typically represented by Pingshan Lake Grand Canyon. This is a geological wonder along the ancient Silk Road. Over millions of years of wind erosion and water carving, the reddish-brown mountains have been shaped into fantastical scenes of peaks, stone pillars, and interwoven canyons, with exquisite landscapes such as the "Nine Dragons Gathering the Sea" and the "General Stone". The thousands of feet of sheer cliffs are like being carved by a chisel, shining with a metallic-like copper glow under the sunlight. The canyon maze is deep and winding, with rock wall patterns resembling ink-wash landscape paintings. At dawn and dusk, the霞光 (shining light) covers the mountains in golden armor， making the entire canyon resemble a burning sea of flames， and is praised as "one of the places in China that most resembles an alien planet".
